Who are we?

The Laura Kent Reserve Workgroup (a group of about ten volunteers) meet on the first Saturday of every month at 9.00am for a couple of hours. Initially, it was to work on the Laura Kent Reserve, but recently we have extended our restoration activities to include Connal Reserve on the opposite side of the river.

The Laura Kent Reserve located in Woolston, runs between the Radley St bridge and Radley Park on the true right of the Heathcote River.

Location

Woolston Walk

The Laura Kent Workgroup has been responsible for setting up a 12-station walk on the banks of the Ōpāwaho Heathcote River taking in both the Laura Kent Reserve and Connal Reserve on the opposite bank.
