Spatial Planting Plan for the Ōpāwaho Heathcote River
The Spatial Planting Plan sets out high-level planting plans for much of the riparian areas of the river taking into account a significant number of criteria and limiting factors such as underground services, the need to respect views of the river from private residences and public safety. Ecology has a part to play as well but how much room is left for it after allowing for all the other factors? Toby will explain the compromises that have to be made.
