About the waterway

The flow from this outfall is inconsistent throughout the year either with no flow or with significant flow.  It originates within the Waltham Pool and is an outlet for an aspect of the pool heating/cooling process.  The flow is un-contaminated water (not warm, not chlorinated) and operates under a current resource consent issued by Environment Canterbury.
