We are a small group of local residents who come together to care for and restore this small but significant spring-fed wetland.

Severely damaged during the earthquakes of 2011, locals residents offered to restore it for the City Council.

We meet at the entrance to the wetland at Thistledown Place every last Saturday of the month between 10.00am and 12.00noon to prune, plant and remove invasive plants. Anyone is most welcome to join us!
